Step 2 · Point correspondences

Match scene points to OpenStreetMap

Add a point, use the Move tool to place it on a visible landmark, then set the corresponding OpenStreetMap location. Markers stay parallel to the ground plane and are projected onto that plane for the map solve. Use two or more points; three well-spaced points are recommended so error can be measured.

Not calibrated. Height assumes 1 scene unit = 1 metre until saved.

For measured scale, confirm the ground plane, enter a known camera height, then choose Scale from height. Move and Rotate appear in the left transform shelf whenever the selected scene object supports them.
